Men's Support Group

Join our weekly Men's Support Group virtually on Wednesdays at noon

Open to men age 18 and older

Due to the persistent stigmatization of therapy, many men fail to seek therapeutic help when they are struggling in life. This results in decreased mental health amongst men, as seen in their disproportionate suicidality. Many men fail to see the value of talk therapy and are more interested in modalities focused on problem-solving and immediacy. The unwillingness to seek one-on-one therapy often leads men to use their partners for emotional unpacking, resulting in diminished relationship satisfaction, or to seek unreliable guidance from internet forums. Unlike individual therapy, a group setting allows for multiple voices and collaboration in real time.

This support group provides a non-judgmental and solutions-based environment in which men can help each other achieve improved well-being together. The goal of this group is to destigmatize therapy and bolster male mental health. The ideal group member is any male looking for objective and non-judgmental support while also willing to provide the same to others.

This group will focus on a variety of topics, including:

  • Deciphering Emotions

  • Finding a Purpose
