About Me

I'm Le (pronounced "Lay") and I welcome you. I am currently pursuing my Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Washington University. In my previous career, I worked as an occupational therapy professional. As such, I am accustomed to meeting clients where they are–even if they aren't where they want to be–and collaborating with them to address life’s inevitable challenges. From adjusting to unexpected life transitions, grappling with loss, and finding new identities,I have been there to help during people’s worst moments. Yet, it was my great honor and joy to be there when they learn that things do get better on the other side.

My philosophy is that where the mind goes, the body follows. Our knowledge of ourselves informs our interpretation of the world and how we move through it. Thus, even if we can’t always control what happens in our lives, we have agency in how we respond and move forward. My approach is rooted in cognitive theory while being influenced by existential and narrative techniques. I am committed to providing you with the tools you need to be the person you strive to be, to be a nonjudgmental and culturally sensitive ally in your journey, and to being an unwavering and compassionate part of your support system. Joining you on your journey would be a privilege–one that I do not take lightly.

Le is able to see clients located in Maryland and the District of Columbia under the supervision of Minahil Meher.
