Hi, I’m Katheryn Najarro! I’m a counseling intern and graduate student, and my number one goal is to make sure my clients feel truly seen. I believe therapy is about building a safe, supportive relationship where you don’t have to face challenges alone. Whether it’s navigating cultural expectations, managing anxiety, setting boundaries, or healing from childhood experiences, I walk alongside my clients with compassion and care.
I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, IFS, and mindfulness, and also draw on inner child work and psychoeducation to help clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion. I provide services in both English and Spanish. Having grown up bilingual, I understand the nuances of navigating between languages and cultures. While English is my strongest language, I welcome the opportunity to support clients in Spanish as well!
I have experience working with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, boundary-setting, and attachment struggles. My background has shaped my understanding of resilience and cultural identity, and I bring that perspective into my work to help clients uncover their strengths and move toward meaningful change. I am more than happy to chat some more!
