Juli Mayhew, LCSW-C

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University. I strive to create a warm, affirming, and authentic therapeutic space where we can safely explore and gain insight into challenges and unhelpful patterns. Therapy is collaborative, with the understanding that each individual is the expert in their own life.

My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and eclectic, drawing on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and relational techniques tailored to each client. My ultimate goal is to create space for insight, self-compassion, growth, and a little humor.

I find joy in supporting clients as they navigate identity, self-worth, depression, anxiety, relationships, sexuality, and life transitions. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I thoroughly enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and identities.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, hanging with my pets, long weekend adventures, and quality time with loved ones.
