Juli Mayhew, LMSW

Juliana Mayhew, LMSW, is licensed in the state of Maryland and holds a Masters in Social Work from Boston University. Juliana’s clinical approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, incorporating psychodynamic, emotionally focused, and CBT approaches to help clients achieve their goals in therapy. She has worked therapeutically with people who have experienced trauma, LGBTQ+ individuals, and clients experiencing depression and anxiety. She is particularly passionate about working with teens and young adults who are experiencing life transitions, developing and exploring their identities, and facing new challenges. 

Prior to obtaining her degree in Social Work and becoming a therapist, Juliana obtained her Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University and worked in the marine sciences. These experiences informed Juliana’s interest in incorporating mindfulness and the natural environment in the healing process. In her free time, Juliana enjoys spending time outside with her dogs, exploring new towns, and DIY projects.
