Bridget Sorensen, Student Therapist

About Me

Bridget is currently accepting new clients

As a therapist in training, I believe that every person deserves peace and well-being in this life, and through working with me, I hope we can provide you relief from life’s challenges and nurture your natural strengths and resilience. Therapy with me will be a collaborative process that we tailor to fit your specific needs and goals. I graduated from the University of Utah, majoring in both Psychology and Sociology. I am currently a third-year master’s student at George Washington University in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.

While I have experience working with adolescents in residential treatment settings, I welcome clients of all ages. I have experience working with presenting concerns including life transitions, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I primarily operate from a Gestalt perspective by emphasizing self-awareness and mindfulness, but I am committed to continuously building a diverse set of therapeutic tools to ensure I am qualified to address a variety of presenting concerns.
