About Me
Whether you are overwhelmed by the state of the world, struggling with personal issues you are carrying alone, or just wanting to continue your journey of self-growth, I would love to work with you. My life experience has equipped me with the empathy, compassion, and commitment to support others on their paths towards wellness and peace, while my education and clinical training have provided me with the knowledge, tools, and experience to help you through whatever you may be facing. Viewing each person through multicultural and trauma-informed lenses allows me to work with people from all different walks of life. Our work together will be a collaborative journey as we find ways to tailor our sessions to work
best for you.
I prioritize trust and rapport in the therapeutic relationship and always strive to provide a safe space where you will be accepted and empowered, knowing that this means something different for each client. As a therapist, I utilize aspects of self-awareness, radical acceptance, and mindfulness in my work, and employ a variety of evidence-based techniques to address each client’s needs. While operating mostly from an ACT lens, I pull from Gestalt, DBT, and somatic practices when needed. I am committed to continuous learning and approach the therapeutic process with curiosity and openness.
Before attending graduate school, I worked in an inpatient residential treatment center for adolescent girls, giving me the hands-on experience to sit with people through some of life’s most difficult challenges. I have experience working with clients dealing with emotional dysregulation, family of origin issues, trauma, major life changes, grief, and relationship struggles, to name a few. As a queer ex- Mormon, I understand the importance of identity in the therapeutic space and welcome clients of all demographics and identities to work with me.
I offer virtual sessions Monday-Thursday and provide a free 15-minute consultation call for prospective
clients. Through working with me, I hope we can offer you relief from life’s challenges and nurture your
natural strengths and resilience.
