About Me

Qi (Jacqui) Chen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) working on her doctorate in counseling at George Washington University. She is able to provide services in both English and in Mandarin. For services or assistance in Mandarin, please email us.

I love seeing my clients change and achieve their happiness through therapy. I believe clients deserve a place to be heard and cared about I am an active advocate for feminism and would like to advocate for women in their future academic and career life. I work with adolescents and adults who experience a variety of concerns, ranging from career challenges to trauma-related issues, to mood disorders, and life transitions.

As an Asian international student, I bring a unique perspective to the table, as I have experienced struggles in cultural adaptation and other challenges with living in a different country. Because of my experiences, I am passionate about working with others as they navigate adapting to a new country, experiencing systemic oppression, and other challenges that accompany immigrating with the ultimate goal to help you improve your overall wellness.

Outside of my clinical work and school work, I love to watch cat and dog videos and hope to have some of my own in the future!

Qi provides clinical supervision to Alex Lesniak.
