Pamela Kramer

Student Therapist

About Me

Pamela is a student therapist who is in her advanced year of working towards her Master's degree in social work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her most recent experience in the mental health field is working as a counselor for clients in psychiatric rehabilitation. She is comfortable helping folks navigate the symptoms of anxiety disorders (such as OCD), ADHD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.

Pamela's clinical practice incorporates psychodynamic theory and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to a person-centered perspective, which emphasizes meeting clients where they are at.
Pamela hopes to help her clients find acceptance and confidence, while being trauma-sensitive and practical about the obstacles that clients encounter. As a biracial woman she has a clinical interest in multi-racial and multicultural identity formation, and she is enthusiastic to discuss clients’ experiences with race, gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, and class using an informed and affirming attitude. If you ask her to describe her vibe, she would say she is thoughtful, curious, and amusing (when it is warranted).

In her free time, Pamela likes listening to DJ sets and watching travel vlogs while walking on her treadmill. She also likes to dance to live music - being rhythmically challenged does not stop her from having a good time!

Pamela is under the supervision of Luis Bernal
