Acerca de mí

Gordon Zhang is a clinical mental health counseling intern and Masters graduate student at The George Washington University. He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound.

Gordon believes that meaningful change begins within a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, understood, and accepted. Drawing primarily from a person-centered approach, he strives to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, discover their own story, and move toward the person they want to become.

Gordon believes that he might be a good fit for individuals who might feel especially lost in their own life and who want a space to explore emotional challenges or life transitions. Whether someone is healing from trauma, struggling with anxiety or grief, or trying to better understand themselves, Gordon strives to help clients reconnect with what feels authentic and meaningful and to help write the next chapter of their lives with greater intention.

Outside of clinical and school work, Gordon is an avid collector of hobbies including reading, D&D, video games, hanging out with his cat, and hiking. He hopes that you talk to him about any of your passions!
