Andre Johnson, LPC Intern

Andre works with adult individuals wanting to improve their lives and relationships through deeper insight, improving communication, and building new skills. She provides support, openness, trust, and respect to clients throughout the therapeutic journey of growth and vulnerability you'll take together. Her goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, genuine space where you can connect with each other and create a solid foundation to help you make a difference in your own life. Andre strives to empower her clients to identify your strengths and contributions and collaborates together with you determine your areas of growth.

Empowerment is Andre's key word when working with clients. This involves skill-building tasks to cope with challenges you may face to be able to accomplish your personal goals, as well as an open space to process concerns. She will create a space together with you where a collaborative connection is built.

Andre will graduate with her Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore in December 2023. She is able to see clients in Maryland and the District of Columbia under the supervision of Jessica Rice. In addition to her current experience as a counselor-in-training, she has had many years in the mental health field and has developed a holistic perspective of working with her clients.
