Grace Goodman, Resident in Counseling

About Me

Grace is currently accepting new clients.

Grace Goodman is a recent graduate from Northwestern University's Masters in Counseling program, where she graduated with academic distinction. Grace always felt called to help others, and after spending several years on her own healing journey in therapy, she decided to follow that calling and leave her 15-year marketing career to become a therapist. Grace is a HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive provider specializing in binge eating disorder whose counseling philosophy is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves to feel good.

For her clients, feeling good often entails fostering a better relationship with food, separating their worth from their weight and body shape, improving their self-esteem, and nurturing skills in boundary-setting, self-love, and self-compassion. Grace's integrative therapeutic approach blends understanding your past and its impact on your present with practical tools to help you feel better in the here and now. She offers her clients unconditional acceptance, a judgment-free, safe space to explore their fears and pain, and support in growing in new and meaningful ways. Above all, Grace believes that all people have the innate ability to heal and considers it an honor to sit beside her clients as they rediscover their strengths and create a life that feels good.
