Tim Burdette, Student Therapist

About Me

Tim is currently accepting new clients

As a Counseling Intern with a passion for fostering deep human connections, Tim focuses on supporting individuals navigating the complexities of life transitions in a changing world and his ideal clients are those who are grappling with emotional pain, struggling to understand their past, and striving to build a more meaningful future. Whether you are dealing with the aftermath of trauma, searching for insight into and affirmation of your identity, or seeking to overcome
anxiety and depression, Tim is here to walk alongside you with compassion, empathy, and a dedicated commitment to your growth.

Tim’s counseling approach is rooted in a dynamically developing orientation that integrates the mindfulness of nature and trauma-informed perspectives. Tim holds a belief in the healing power of the natural world and often incorporates elements and cycles of Nature into his therapeutic practice to help clients reconnect with themselves and feel more present in their environment.

With over a decade of experience in high-stress environments, including crisis intervention and psychological aid at an outdoor adventure ropes course, Tim brings a calm, grounded, and encouraging presence to his work, having honed his ability to de-escalate intense situations, assess individual needs in real-time, and provide personalized support that empowers clients to overcome the psychological and emotional barriers they face.

Tim maintains a deep commitment to helping others feel seen, heard, and understood - whether you are seeking to process past trauma, navigate grief, or simply find greater clarity and purpose in your life – he is here to support you every step of the way. If you are ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, he invites you to reach out, and together, you can explore your story and uncover your strengths to create a new path, with New Hope, toward
healing and growth.
